My story

After our house was burned down and I was extremely bullied in high school, I developed an eating disorder. This was my coping mechanism to suppress the pain I felt. Caring for others, but not for myself. As a distraction and escape from my own thoughts, I started working hard and a lot. Due to the enormous passion and drive that I had (and still have), I went through with it. That led to two burnouts. Through the knowledge I gained and the help of psychologists, coaches and many therapies, I overcame my eating disorder. I learned more and more how to take responsibility for my own life and thoughts.
